This heat insulation medium is specially used for polyvinyl butyral resin, and through adding it into PVB , heat insulation PVB film is obtained. It has excellent near infrared blocking around 1000 nm, where human skin has the most sensitive heating effect. Heat insulation EVA film can be applied in building curtain wall glass, greatly improving human comfort, saving the energy, achieving more effective warm in winter and cool in summer. At the same time, it does not affect the original bonding strength and various safety performances, and enhances the functions of sound insulation and explosion protection.

It is used to produce heat-insulation and energy-saving PVB film through internal addition, which is used for automobile and architectural laminated glass.
According to the thickness of PVB film and the optical index required , the heat insulating medium was added into the plasticizer as weight ratio 0.4% -2%. The plasticizer and PVB resin are blended, extruded and calendered by point spraying and stirring to produce high performance PVB insulation film.
