MKS Organic Oil-based Antibacterial Coating Additive
      There are various types of bacteria, fungi, viruses and other microorganisms existing in our daily life. Therefore, how to deal with these microorganisms to effectively ensure the good health of human beings has become a hot spot, and antibacterial materials play an important role in this regard. Some special organic compounds, such as the types of biguanides, phenol ethers, thiazoles, chlorides, quaternary ammonium salts, etc, can react with protein groups (e.g., sulfhydryl group)to destroy the bacterial metabolic activity. These materials show the fast and strong bactericidal ability with easy processing and good stability. MKS-2 is a type of high-efficiency antibacterial product independently developed and produced by Shanghai Huzheng Company. The broad spectrum product can be used to protect the surface of PVC, polyurethane, silica gel resin, polyolefin, PET and other polymers from the erosion of bacteria, mold, algae, so as to provide the anti-bacterial effect of the plastic and the coating dry film.

It is recommended to be used in high demand applications, especially in outdoor high UV environments. It can be used for the surface antibacterial protection of PVC, silica gel, polyolefin, polyurethane, acrylic resin and other products. The application range includes: household appliances, shoes and hats, clothing, automobile, home, medical and public health fields.

The dosage of the antibacterial agent is calculated according to the proportion (%) of its effective component to the total weight of the final product:

PVC 0.03-0.5; polyurethane 0.05-0.5; polyester 0.05-1.0; polyolefin 0.05-1.0; acrylic resin 0.05-1.0; synthetic rubber (such as butadiene styrene; styrene rubber; acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) 0.03-1.0; natural rubber 0.03-0.5; antibacterial coating 0.1-0.3.

Notes:

1. Keep sealed and store in a cool place, make the label clear to avoid misusing.

2. Keep far from the fire, at the place where children can't reach;

3. Ventilate well and prohibit the fire strictly;

4. Wear PPE, such as protective clothing, protective gloves and goggles;

5. Prohibit contacting with the mouth,eyes and skin, in case of any contact, flush with large amount of water immediately, call a doctor if necessary.

Storage: In a cool, dry place, avoiding sun exposure. It is stable under normal storage conditions. Before use, if frozen, it must be thawed, and the active ingredient is stable to heat and non-volatile.
